Solar Nova Scotia is a volunteer run organization and our greatest strength is our people. Volunteers play a vital role in helping Solar Nova Scotia achieve its vision and implement its mission to promote and facilitate the adoption of solar energy in Nova Scotia.

Solar Nova Scotia Volunteer Award
We present this award during our Annual General Meeting; it recognizes the volunteer efforts of a Solar Nova Scotia member or group who has made a major impact in promoting and facilitating the adoption of solar energy in Nova Scotia.
Solar Nova Scotia membership and members of the public are invited to nominate individuals and groups for this award. Nominations must be in the form of a completed nomination form and accompanying description or a single e-mail containing all of the requested information. All nominations must be received no later than one month prior to the Annual General Meeting and can be submitted at any time throughout the year. An ad hoc committee will be established by the Solar Nova Scotia Board to review all nominations and select the winning candidate.Solar Nova Scotia greatly values the work of its volunteers and would like to express our sincere thanks to past, present and future volunteers.
